I need to hear that. But the good news is that our "spirit man" is way bigger and stronger than our flesh, and has a deep longing for the things of God that will overcome the "flesh man". Let him loose by faith! We don't need to focus on subduing the flesh, but on edifying our spirit. Invite Holy Spirit to build up your spirit. Use your prayer language. Focus on the things of God, chase after His heart, and watch all the distractions just fall away!

BTW I love CSI! I think it's that combination of justice and revealing truth from little pieces of evidence that enthralls me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16515444.post-74988224933859856132007-06-26T14:33:00.000-05:002007-06-26T14:33:00.000-05:00How good is God that He leaves with me no one to b...How good is God that He leaves with me no one to blame but myself.

How frustrating though that I have no one to blame but myself.Flyawaynethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04256526531230045440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16515444.post-19880897660776112972007-06-26T13:42:00.000-05:002007-06-26T13:42:00.000-05:00"I'm my own worst enemy."Therein lies the baleful ..."I'm my own worst enemy."
Therein lies the baleful reality of living in this transitory world. Paul expressed it so eloquently in Galatians 5. No matter how deep we get into God, or what experiences of glory he grants us, as long as we live in these mortal coils in this decaying realm, that will ALWAYS be true. It was as true for Moses as it was for Peter. It's true for me and it's true for you. The seed for failure, or even just settling for the less than, doesn't come comet-like from dark, distant outer space, but from ourselves.SLWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04260137021205685080noreply@blogger.com
