Goodbye

It's been a fun ride.
I'm profoundly thankful for the release this blog has given me.
I haven't been walking for awhile now though, so it's time to stop.
Thanks for having read,

The End.

There's no future in not walking, so I pray you'll take up the cross again and continue the journey.

I was sitting here tonight going though sites I have added to my favorites over time. And so I clicked your and maybe just maybe thee was a God given reason for this.

I have been where you are now. Maybe not the exact situation maybe not as bad but maybe even worse?

I have jumped on the "God" wagon and jumped off just as quickly, even though I knew that His way was and IS the right way, there have been times where I just went my own way. Usually ended with a big crash but thats a story for another day. ;)

Here are some things to think about...

We have to look at maintaining our relationship with God the same way we maintain our friendships in this world. If you dont call "Jenny" every so often your relationship will eventually struggle. if you choose to call each week you guys are probably pretty good friends. But if you and Jenny talk each day your relationship grows each and every day.

Its the same with God. Satan doesnt want us to have that connected feeling with Him. He wants us to slack on our everyday relationship maintenance and eventually feel like we dont even know Him.

Do do it. Satan is a liar and you know that Im sure.

Talk to God. Tell him how you feel. Tell him about your beliefs and unbeliefs. tell Him where you are having trouble believing His word as solid. He understands. You wont be the first person in history to question Him and HIS plan.

Oh and lets talk about His Plan. His plan is not yours. Sometimes I feel like God isnt listening. But He is. He just chooses to answer us differently sometimes. sometimes our requests are best not answered for our own good.

I dont know what it is you are going through but after reading the last few months of posts I cant help but feel that I have been there and it was ugly.

Even if reading His Word seems boring. Do it. If it seems far off and distant. Do it anyways. Pray, ask for guidance. He WILL answer. Be open minded about how He may work in your life right now. You may see one thing as the only solution but He may have an entirely different plan that seems to make no sense at all right now.

Go with it. Allow Him to lead your every breath, every step, your every thought.

Pray continually. Just keep praying and asking for the Spirit to guide you. He will. Thats what He does.

God loves you so much and personally called you by name. He formed you, each hair on your headed is accounted for. Each tear you cry is caught.

he has never left you no matter how hard things have gotten. Look at Job. My gosh he lost EVERYTHING in one day. EVERYTHING! Imagine what that was like. And yet what does it say he did. He Worshipped God. Read Job if you get a chance. I treasure that book when things are tough.

Dont let go. Even if all you have left is less than an ounce. Dont let it go. Keep persevering through your circumstances. Dont allow your circumstances to rule what you believe.

God is bigger than any problem you may face or are facing. Cry out. pray the psalms of David. Listen to what david was saying.

Psalm 5:1
Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my sighing

Psalm 13:1
How long, O LORD ? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

David was a man after Gods heart and yet there were times where he wondered if God was even listening. He begged God to make His presence seen in His life because obviously he didnt feel it or see it at that time.

Your not alone. Even King David was where you are. We all waver in our faith. We all question God. We are human and we are fallen.

Dont let satan get the best of you. Take back your relationship with God. Make it a point to pray several times a day. Listen to worship music and cry out. He hears you. He sees you.

Dont let go.
Dont let go.

Im praying for you.
