Hey you just jump right into the deep end don't you?
I am thinking that if God is willing to take the time to mature us, we should be aware that it will take time to become what He desires for us.
Seems like to denounce ones self would be to give up on the hope of what God has done and is doing.
Where the intention might be to speed up the process.
As far as I have discovered the only speeding up is learning quicker and applying sooner, one lesson at a time.
I certainly didn't mean it to sound or imply giving up on the hope of what God has done/is doing.
Actually, my thinking at the moment is quite to the contrary. That what He's doing, and what He's done is so spectacular, that the part of me that is ME, and not GOD, just needs to get out of the way.
